The maximum wind speed is 130 miles per hour (mph).
GAF Roofing System Limited Warranty
This warranty requires the installation of GAF shingles and a minimum of three qualifying accessories. It includes a 10-year protection period, a 10-year algae warranty and a wind warranty coverage of 15 years. Unlike GAF Shingle & Accessory Limited Warranty, there are no maximum speed limitations.
System Plus Limited Warranty
This warranty requires the installation of GAF shingles and a minimum of three qualifying accessories, and must be installed by GAF-certified roofing contractors. It includes a lifetime warranty with a 50-year protection period and a 10-year algae warranty. The wind warranty coverage is 15 years with no maximum speed limitations.
Silver Pledge™ Limited Warranty
This warranty requires the installation of GAF shingles and a minimum of four qualifying accessories, and must be installed by a GAF-certified roofer. It includes a lifetime warranty with a 50-year protection period and a 10-year algae warranty. It offers a wind warranty coverage of 15 years with no maximum speed limitations. When necessary, shingle tear-offs and disposals are also covered. There is a workmanship warranty of up to 10 years.
Golden Pledge® Limited Warranty
This warranty requires the installation of GAF shingles and a minimum of five qualifying accessories, and must be installed by a GAF-certified roofer. It includes a lifetime warranty with a 50-year protection period and a 10-year algae warranty. It offers a wind warranty coverage of 15 years with no maximum speed limitations. Shingle tear-offs and disposals are covered when necessary, and the workmanship coverage is up to 25 years.
